Petr Cech is going nowhere in January, with Jose Mourinho confirmed that Chelsea will allow third-string goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer to move to Leicester City.

Schwarzer, 42, has been Chelsea’s third-choice keeper this season after backing up Cech last year. With Thibaut Courtois back from his shining loan to Atletico Madrid, Cech has dropped to No. 2 and Schwarzer to No. 3.

With Schwarzer moving -- Mourinho said, “We’re going to miss the big guy” -- the Chelsea manager said there’s “no chance” Cech will leave Stamford Bridge. Additionally, Chelsea has recalled 21-year-old Jamal Blackman from his loan at Middlesbrough.

Blackman made one appearance for Middlesbrough, a 2-2 League Cup match against Liverpool that notoriously ended in an absurd shootout. Liverpool won 14-13.
