No Robben for Bayern against Arsenal in UEFA Champions League

Arjen Robben is close to a return for Bayern Munich, but not quite match fit.

And while that’s bad news for the Bundesliga, it suits Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League desires just fine.

The Gunners badly need a win against Bayern on Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium after dropping a pair of early Group F matches to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos.

Behind the 8-ball ahead of two matches against the German powers, who’ve smoked the same opponents by a combined score of 8-0, Arsenal needs every advantage it can find.

Kingsley Coman is back for Bayern, while Robert Lewandowski and David Alaba will be ready to go as well. So they’re still good.
