Forget the title, Manchester City is wasting its chances at cementing a spot in the Premier League’s Top Four.
An often casual Man City side went to Carrow Road and dominated possession, but failed to finish anything in a 0-0 draw with relegation-scrapping Norwich City on Saturday.

The Canaries badly needed a point, and move into a tie with 17th place Sunderland on 25 points. Norwich is a point ahead of Newcastle, but has played two more matches.

Manchester City was rarely troubled in the opening half, carrying play but a little wasteful in the final ball or two.
The Canaries finally found their chance in the 39th minute, as Nicolas Otamendi made a poor decision leading to Patrick Bamford’s swirling volley from distance hitting the crossbar.

Sergio Aguero won a free kick a yard outside the 18 in the 64th minute, but David Silva hit his left-footed offering into the Norwich wall.
Time and time again, though, Man City whiffed on chances to get that crucial match-winner. Even Aguero struggled to find his finish despite running rampant through the Canaries’ half.
Norwich didn’t register a shot on target, but did manage its first clean sheet since January.
