Cristiano Ronaldo scored five goals for the Sporting CP first team way back in the 2002-03 season, followed by 118 in six seasons for Manchester United, and now, 322 for Real Madrid. He’s also found the back of the net 55 times for his native Portugal.

Add those four numbers up and what do you have? That’s right — 500 goals for club and country.
The Portuguese superstar, now 30, bagged the 500th goal of his professional career (below video) on Wednesday, giving Real Madrid a 1-0 first-half lead over Swedish side Malmo FF in UEFA Champions League action.

If he continues his current scoring pace (58 goals for club and country, per season, since joining Madrid in 2009), Ronaldo could reach 1,000 sometime in 2024, at the age of 39.
