The French-born 21-year-old striker made sure the 2015 Gold Cup started with a surprise, scoring a beautiful goal in the 86th minute to help Haiti to a shocking 1-1 draw with Panama on Tuesday night in Frisco, Texas.
Panama is the world’s 54th ranked team, while Haiti is 76th.
Stingy Haiti found its resolve broken on a big defensive error, and Alberto Quintero darted onto a 56th minute loose ball to fire it past Haitian goalkeeper Johny Placide.

Réginal Goreux swung and missed on a clearing attempt, allowing Quintero to strike with vigor.
A foul-heavy affair, Panama had the edge in shots but this match was far from the blowout many expected.
And then Nazon, the Ligue 2 striker from Stade Lavallois, worked this splendid dribble into an equalizer:
Haiti gets the USMNT next for a Friday night match, while Panama moves on to face Honduras.
