23 down... 15 to go!

Chelsea 1-1 Manchester City - RECAP

A tense and nervous clash at Stamford Bridge saw two goals just before half time settle this. Loic Remy put Chelsea 1-0 up, but David Silva tapped home before the break to make it 1-1. City were the better team but Chelsea remain five-points clear of them at the top.

Manchester United 3-1 Leicester City - RECAP

United were 3-0 up before half time as Robin van Persie, Radamel Falcao and an own goal from Wes Morgan did the damage. Leicester pulled one back through Marcin Wesolowski late on but van Gaal’s boys were in tremendous form in the first half. Red Devils up to third, Leicester remain bottom.

Liverpool 2-0 West Ham United - RECAP

A goal each from Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling gave Liverpool the win as they are now just four points off the top four. Reds are rampant while the Hammers are falling.

West Bromwich Albion 0-3 Tottenham Hotspur - RECAP

Christian Eriksen was at it again as he curled in a beauty, plus Harry Kane scored two more to take his tally for the season to 20. Spurs are coming on strong for a top four finish. West Brom battled hard but are still in a relegation scrap.

Sunderland 2-0 Burnley - RECAP

The Black Cats are back to winning ways and gave themselves some breathing space with a win over Burnley. Goals from Conor Wickham and Jermain Defoe (his first for Sunderland) did the business. Burnley were poor going forward and remain fourth from bottom.

Hull City 0-3 Newcastle United - RECAP

A big win for Newcastle as John Carver celebrated his new job after being named head coach until the end of the season. A stunner from Remy Cabella in the first half set them on their way, then goals from Sammy Ameobi and Yoan Gouffran put some gloss on the scoreline. Hull were abysmal and the pressure is piling on Tigers boss Steve Bruce.

Stoke City 3-1 Queens Park Rangers - RECAP

The first hat trick of Jonathan Walters’ career was the difference in this one. Stoke raced into a two goal lead as Walters bagged two but Niko Kranjcar pulled one back. QPR hit the crossbar and were all over the Potters in the second half but couldn’t equalize as Walters added another late on.

Crystal Palace 0-1 Everton - RECAP

Romelu Lukaku was the match-winner as his second minute goal was enough for a resolute Everton. The Toffees defended well as Palace couldn’t break them down. First win in seven for Everton, as Palace remain in the scrap against relegation.
