Not content with chasing global superstars to perform on the field — Cristiano Ronaldo and/or Zlatan Ibrahimovic, anyone? — Beckham also apparently wants a former superstar teammate and/or Galactico to lead his Miami team into its inaugural campaign … whenever that might actually be.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Beckham has already considered former Manchester United pal Paul Scholes, as well as former Real Madrid teammate Roberto Carlos, for the yet-to-actually-exist head-coaching job.

Scholes is said to have been ruled out by Beckham and Co., given his lack of appeal to South Florida’s sizable Brazilian and Spanish-speaking communities. The 41-year-old Man United legend briefly served as caretaker manager for non-League side Salford City, a club of which he is currently a co-owner, in 2015.
As for Carlos, he’s currently serving as a player-manager for Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos. His previous managerial experience came in stints Sivasspor and Akhisar Belediyespor in Turkey, as well as Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia. Carlos is also said to be drawing interest from the Real Madrid youth academy.
