Cristiano Ronaldo has been in London launching his new film, a 92-minute documentary about himself titled “Ronaldo - The Movie.”
Despite being the center of attention, Ronaldo revealed he often feels “alone” in the world.

The Real Madrid superstar and three-time World Player of the Year, 30, met the media ahead of his own film premiere in London’s Leicester Square and even though the movie (made by the same people who brought as Senna) about his life off the pitch had come in for plenty of criticism, he genuinely seems to be enjoying this project and doing something other than becoming Real’s all-time leading goalscorer and being one of the greatest players to ever walk the planet.

He dodged questions about FIFA’s crisis, a possible return to Manchester United and many of the more important topics but as you can (apparently, I haven’t seen the film) see for brief flashes during the documentary, Ronaldo showed off a trait not many of us would associate with him: vulnerability.
In the film Ronaldo is shown being a doting father to his son, Cristiano Jr. The identity of his mother is unknown and Ronaldo has full custody over his son but will wait until he grows up and “then I will tell him what I did.”
Many say it is tough to take the documentary too seriously as it seems to be one big promotional pitch of Ronaldo and his glitzy lifestyle but as those comments above show, there are glimpses behind the curtain of one of the biggest sports stars on the planets. It also shows how close he is to his family, while his agent Jorge Mendes has become a father figure after Ronaldo’s own father drank himself to death 10 years ago.
Make up your own mind about what you think of Ronaldo, the man, by going to see the film yourself. Above is a sneak peek of what to expect.
