Stevie G fever has officially hit Los Angeles.
The legendary midfielder is still finishing up his season for Liverpool, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on some brand new Galaxy gear with Gerrard’s name and number.

The club took to Twitter today to announce that Gerrard will wear the No. 8 shirt when he comes to America, the same number he has worn over the past ten seasons at Liverpool.

While you may want to be the first to grab your official Gerrard Galaxy kit, it’s going to cost you. Jerseys are available for pre-order with some high prices, $174.99 for a short sleeve jersey and $204.99 for long sleeves.
That’s a hefty price to pay for a jersey of someone who has never played for your club before, even if that player is Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard is set to make his debut for Los Angeles on July 17 when the Galaxy face the San Jose Earthquakes at the Stubhub Center.
