Chelsea has officially landed Pedro from Barcelona for up to a cool $34 million, and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is backing the move of his former rival.

The 28-year-old Pedro was announced as a new Blue on Thursday, and Henry gushed about the winger’s work rate, footballing intellect and professionalism (something echoed by Barcelona in their announcement of his sale).

Speaking from his Sky Sports’ pundit chair, here’s what Henry had to say about Pedro:

“The perfect team-mate, the perfect professional - he is that guy.”

...

“He can adapt to the English system, he won’t have to learn, he will understand staying wide, putting pressure and all that type of thing from the front and the first time I saw him he was already on point.”

High praise from Titi, and a big boost for the Blues. Now what would your ideal Chelsea XI look like?
