Sunday was not a dry day for the transfer rumor well, even before Duncan Castles’ report that Jose Mourinho had put four Old Trafford regulars on Manchester United’s sell list.

It wasn’t even the only United transfer rumor of note, as several sources are working on reports that claim Monaco’s Fabinho is ready for a move to Manchester. The 22-year-old right back shares the same agent as Mourinho, and the manager is said to be willing to spend as much as $29 million for Fabinho.

Sky Sports has sources that believe Tottenham is buying Marseille winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, and have agreed to terms with the French club to the tune of $14.25 million. Spurs declined comment on the story.

Respected newshound Gianluca DiMarzio says Arsenal have taken the next steps in its pursuit of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi. The 23-year-old Argentine has scored 38 goals over the last two Serie A campaigns, and was the league’s top scorer in 2014-15.

Liverpool may want to bring Jeremy Mathieu to England, according to Le Parisien. The 32-year-old French back has been at Barcelona since arriving from Valencia in 2014. He’s made 75 appearances with three goals for the Blaugranas, and would supplement Liverpool’s center back corps.
