If you missed it Monday, several outlets are saying that Manchester United may have found its next American player. New York Red Bulls academy back Matthew Olosunde, 17, has been drawing rave reviews in Manchester since joining the club to train during the summer. If he can land a work permit, he may be golden, with RBNY declining to comment on the matter.

But it’s another RBNY player in the Premier League rumor mill today, and it’s a senior team back.

Jamaican left back Kemar Lawrence has 26 caps, and he likely won’t have trouble getting a work permit. Where would the Supporters’ Shield winner go? Newcastle is linked, as is Leicester amongst a bevy of possible suitors.

American-born Italian international Giuseppi Rossi could be moving from Italy to England, according to Italian site ITA Sport Press. It’s said that Liverpool will be offering $27 million for the injury-plagued 28-year-old. When Rossi’s been healthy, he’s been dynamite, though, including 16 goals in 21 league matches for Fiorentina in 2013-14.

The Reds are also said to be looking into Marko Grujic ahead of a $7.5 million bid. According to the Liverpool Echo, they will try to outdo Roma, Inter Milan, and Chelsea.

Is Charlie Austin on the January market? HITC says he may and may not be, depending on who you speak with at Loftus Road. New QPR coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink expects Austin around all season, while R’s director of football Les Ferdinand said “every player has got his price”. Villa, Sunderland, and Newcastle continue to be linked with the target striker.

Antoine Greizmann says he’s not interested in a move to Chelsea, according to Canal Football.
