The draw for the UEFA Champions League play-off round has been completed and Manchester City has been handed a tough test against Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest.
Pep Guardiola’s side wilil travel to Romania for the first leg and then host the second leg at the Etihad Stadium as they are two games away from sealing their spot in the UCL group stage for the fifth-straight season.

The Premier League contenders entered the UCL at this stage due to finishing fourth in the PL last season and although the draw could’ve been worse, it’s still a tricky test as Guardiola continues to assemble his squad ahead of his debut season coaching in England.
Elsewhere some mouth-watering ties have been set up with FC Porto and AS Roma squaring off for a play in the UCL group stage, Villarreal and Monaco will do battle, plus Celtic will face Israel’s Hapoel Beer-Sheva who stunned Olympiakos in the last round of qualifying.
The 10 winners of the games below will qualify for the UCL group stage, while the 10 losing teams will enter the UEFA Europa League group stage. The first leg will be played on Aug. 16/17 and then return leg will be played on Aug. 23/24.
