USMNT right back DeAndre Yedlin has left Newcastle United’s Championship match against Aston Villa with injury.
The 23-year-old was making his first league start for Newcastle since transferring from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

He played right back Saturday, but has mainly been used on the right wing by Rafa Benitez.
More details as they become available. The U.S. has matches on Oct. 7 and 11 against Cuba and New Zealand.
