One of the United States’ brightest young prospects is headed to the Premier League.

We’ve known for months that Emerson Hyndman, 20, would be leaving Fulham despite the Craven Cottage club’s wishes, and now we know the destination.

Hyndman is headed to Bournemouth to join Eddie Howe’s Cherries.

Here’s what the Southern outfit had to say about their new American:

AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said, “We’ve moved swiftly in the window to secure Emerson’s signature and we are delighted to have finalised the deal to bring such a promising young talent to AFC Bournemouth.

“Emerson is a highly rated young player and already boasts international experience, so will be a welcome addition to Eddie and Jason’s squad.

“We now look forward to seeing him in action at Vitality Stadium in of our second season in the top flight.”

Twice capped by the USMNT, Hyndman made 24 league appearances for Fulham and scored once. The attack-minded midfielder has captained the U-20 national team as well.

Happy to see more U.S. blood joining Geoff Cameron and DeAndre Yedlin in the Premier League.
