Speaking in his post-game interviews (above video), the Northern Irishman lauded his team’s work rate and intensity — particularly that of star summer signing, and scorer of two goals, Adam Lallana — but was quick to remind everyone that one victory doesn’t make a season and that level of focus and attention to detail must be remain if Liverpool are to continue their surge up the Premier League standings.

“Over the course of the last three weeks or so, we’ve been able to find [a tactical system that most benefits his players],” Rodgers said. “We haven’t always got the results from it, but the performances I’ve been really happy with.”
