VIDEO: Everton fans fly banner over St Mary’s to protest against ownership

Despite beating Southampton 3-0 on Saturday, Everton’s fans are not best pleased with how their club is being run.

In the video above you can see that a banner which was flown on a plane over St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday, as Everton’s fans protested against long-time chairman Bill Kenwright and the lack of investment in their team over the summer.

The message read: “Kenwright and Co - #TimeToGo NSNO” and as well as the plane being flown overheard, several members of Everton supporter groups also held up banners with similar messages inside the stadium.

Roberto Martinez signed just one first-team player for cash, Gerard Deulofeu, this summer and brought in young defender Mason Holgate from Barnsley.
