Raul’s long-standing record as the leading scorer in the UEFA Champions League has well and truly been trashed.

On Tuesday Lionel Messi bagged a hat trick to move his all-time UCL tally to 74, while Ronaldo equaled Raul’s 71 goals with a tap in against FC Basel on Wednesday. And at 29 years old, Ronaldo has plenty of time to surpass Raul’s total.
