It may still be just the preseason, but that doesn’t mean the stars of Major League Soccer aren’t already in top form and scoring stunning goals with the 2015 MLS season still two weeks away.
On Saturday, 11 games featuring 14 MLS teams were played and there were great goals flying in every which direction from some of the league’s biggest stars, both of the present and future.
First up, we’ve got Kaka — everyone remembers that guy, right? 2002 World Cup winner, 2007 World Player of the Year, world superstar, etc. Here’s the give-and-go ol’ Ricardo scored on for Orlando City SC on Saturday:
Next up, it’s Diego Fagundez. He may have taken a step back in 2014 (five goals and four assists in a slightly reduced role), but he looks to be firing on all cylinders ahead of March 8:
And then there was Graham Zusi’s goal, which is actually nominated for the assist by Benny Feilhaber. 40 yards, perfect trajectory, over the Sounders backline. Makes the job easy for Zusi in the end. (It’s not the first time Feilhaber hit that beautiful ball this week.)
