WATCH: Alessandro Florenzi embraces grandmother in stands after goal

Unknown

AS Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi scored the second goal in his squad’s 2-0 victory over Cagliari in Serie A play, and instead of doing the customary goal celebration with teammates, he decided to seek out his grandmother, who was viewing the match in the Stade Olimpico stands, and revel in his triumphs.

Gervinho played Florenzi into an open area near the side of the net, and the 23-year-old Italian buried his low shot past goalkeeper Alessio Cragno to conclude the competition’s scoring. Roma has nine points in the league table and sits at first place right above Juventus on goal differential now.
