Queens Park Rangers boss Craig Ramsey will gear his sights toward winning a point, or possibly more, when Loftus Road hosts Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

QPR, battling demotion at 18th place in the relegation zone, will have to press on against a squad that has produced its best form in the past couple of months.

Ramsey agreed that his side feels the stress at this point in the year as the season’s end nears. But all the Hoops can do is put forth their best effort in the highly competitive Premier League, and the ex-Swindon Town right back sticks to this idea.

“Any team in the situation we’re in, whether it be at the top or whether it be on the bottom, the pressure is always there,” he said. “It’s very difficult to keep the players calm and keep their anxieties down.”

“But the main thing is to stick to any plans we decided to do and see if we can do them to the best of our abilities.”

Previously a coach in Spurs academy and an assistant to Tim Sherwood, Ramsey knows White Hart Lane well and relishes that experience to this day.

"[Tottenham] gave me nine years of employment in football and topped it off by being involved with the first-team at the end. I’m very, very happy for all the years I spent at Tottenham, great fans, great board.”
