WATCH: Vicious red-card tackle sends Tevez skyward in Copa Argentina

So you’re playing for your favorite club. Everything’s good. Everything’s fine. Then you wind up flipped into the sky and onto the ground.

That’s what happened to Boca Juniors man Carlos Tevez, as the ex-Man City and Juventus striker was absolutely crushed by Gustavo Gomez on Friday night.

The referee couldn’t get the red card out of his back pocket fast enough, and for good reason. Wow. That’s even a red card in the 1970’s.

Tevez has five goals in 11 games for Boca, who beat Lanus 2-0. He’s fortunate not to have a broken back.
