He’s that relentless bull who will do anything to get his skates to the net.
Minus the skates.
To paraphrase, that’s how Werder Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin describes United States men’s national teamer Jordan Morris, who’s on trial with Bremen this week.

Eichin, who spent the majority of a 15-year hockey career with Borussia Monchengladbach, was hired as the Bremen GM in 2013. And MLSSoccer.com has his comments on Morris:Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin praised on Tuesday the 2015 MAC Hermann Trophy winner, ... saying he “does a few things one rarely sees.”
“He is a totally goal-oriented, no-nonsense guy,” said Eichin, a former hockey executive. “He reminds me of my hockey days and the boys who always sought a way forward to get in front of the goal.”
If we’re reading between the lines, Bremen wants Morris to stick around longer than a week. Later in the report, hopeful Seattle Sounders president of soccer Garth Lagerway hoped Morris signs in Seattle. With all due respect to the Sounders, we get a little giddy over Morris and fellow USMNT forward Aron Johannsson training and playing together in Germany’s top flight. Getting ahead of ourselves, but where can we buy a shirt?
