Aston Villa will feel aggrieved to snare only a single point at the Hawthorns, but finish has been a problem all year and remained so in a 0-0 draw on Saturday.
Remi Garde’s Villans continued to inch forward in an unlikely run toward safety, and are now nine points back of the drop with 13 points. West Brom’s 28 points have them 13th.
It was another match without a shot on target for Pulis’ Baggies, who were outworked 15-4 in shot attempts.
