Eagles signed G/C Steve Vallos, formerly of the Browns.
Vallos, a former seventh-round pick out of Wake Forest, appeared in just one game for Cleveland last year. He is likely a camp body only in Philadelphia.
  • FA Guard #75
    Eagles re-signed G/C Steve Vallos.
The Eagles released Vallos at final cuts. But with starting center Jason Kelce (knee) out at least 4-6 weeks, he’s needed for depth. Vallos will be the direct backup to new starting center Dallas Reynolds.
  • FA Guard #75
    Jaguars re-signed G/C Steve Vallos.
RB Keith Toston was waived in a corresponding move. Vallos was just waived on Saturday. He’ll provide depth along the offensive line if he lasts until Thursday’s game against Indy.
  • FA Guard #75
Jaguars signed G/C Steve Vallos and re-signed LB Brandon Marshall.
Vallos will add depth on the interior after being released by the Eagles last week. A fifth-round rookie out of Nevada, Marshall will help out on special teams. QB John Parker Wilson and RB Keith Toston were waived in corresponding moves.
  • FA Guard #75
In addition to Daryn Colledge and Samson Satele, the Dolphins will work out free agent OL Steve Vallos on Monday.
There’s believed to be a fourth interior lineman who’ll be at the workout, but hasn’t been revealed. (We’re on the edge of our seats to find out.) Vallos, 30, is a journeyman with nine career starts. Colledge would be a better bet.
  • FA Guard #75
Seahawks signed seventh-round OL Steve Vallos to a four-year contract, according to the Seattle Times.
The 6-3/290-pounder will convert to guard. Vallos is strong and started all four years at Wake, but may be a long shot to land a roster spot as a rookie.
  • FA Guard #75
The Seahawks currently have the youngest projected starting offensive line in the league.
The average age is 26 years old. Steve Vallos will start Week 1 at center, with Ray Willis and Sean Locklear at the tackles and Rob Sims at left guard. The right guard position is open to Max Unger and Mansfield Wrotto.
  • FA Guard #75
Coach Jim Mora said that backup C Steve Vallos and G Mansfield Wrotto will split time at left guard on Sunday against Arizona.
Both players are filling the void left by Rob Sims, who is out with a high ankle sprain. The Hawks’ line is in shambles, with Kyle Williams, a practice squad member, starting for the team at left tackle.
  • FA Center #60
Seahawks C Chris Spencer (back) is in danger of not being ready when the regular season opens.
With Chris Gray retired, Seattle’s next option is Steve Vallos, a 2007 seventh round pick who’s never appeared in an NFL game and played tackle in college. Seattle’s inside running game could struggle early with Spencer out.
  • FA Guard #75
Broncos signed OL Steve Vallos, formerly of the Jaguars.
29-year-old Vallos is a journeyman guard/center type. Denver is very thin at center after losing Dan Koppen (ACL tear) and J.D. Walton (ankle surgeries.
