    Patriots waived/injured WR T.J. Moe.
Moe’s injury was not disclosed. An undrafted rookie out of Missouri, Moe could “redshirt” the 2013 season and return to compete for a job in 2014.
  • FA Wide Receiver #87
Updating a previous item, Patriots WR T.J. Moe (injured reserve) suffered a torn Achilles’ earlier this week.
Moe is quicker than fast, and was a productive slot receiver in Mizzou’s spread offense. The Patriots have had success taking slot-men with average athleticism (Wes Welker, Julian Edelman) and maximizing their strengths, which was the plan with Moe. He’ll likely get another shot with the team in 2014.

Patriots signed Missouri WR T.J. Moe.
Moe (5-foot-11 1/2, 204) was a productive slot receiver in Mizzou’s spread offense, catching 188 career passes for 2,101 yards (11.2 YPR) and 11 touchdowns. Quicker than fast, Moe posted the fastest short shuttle time (3.96) among all receivers at the Combine, just ahead of Tavon Austin’s 4.01. Unfortunately, Moe ran a 4.74 forty so he went undrafted. He has landed in an ideal spot as the Patriots are thin at wideout and love quick slot men.

    Patriots released WR T.J. Moe.
Moe went undrafted last April thanks to a 4.74 forty and 5'11/204 frame. The wideout-needy Patriots scooped him up quickly, but he blew out his Achilles’ in May and spent the entire year on injured reserve. Moe is reportedly looking good in workouts, so we’d expect him to get a look from someone prior to August.

Rams signed WR T.J. Moe, formerly of the Patriots.
Moe, 23, was a priority UDFA signing by New England last April, but tore his Achilles’ just under one year ago and spent his rookie season on injured reserve. The slot receiver and Mizzou alum will be a long shot in St. Louis.

Rams waived WR T.J. Moe, WR Jordan Harris, OT R.J. Dill, OT D.J. Morrell, CB Jarrid Bryant, P Bobby Cowan, LS Jorgen Hus, FB Kadeem Jones and LB Johnny Millard.
LB Pat Schiller was waived/injured. A 2013 undrafted free agent and Missouri native, Moe had only one catch through three preseason games. Moe was an effective slot receiver for Mizzou, but lacks the athleticism to stick in the NFL.
