Steelers signed CB Trevor Williams, TE Kevin Rader, WR Anthony Johnson, WR Cody White, OT Anthony Coyle, OT Brandon Walton, S John Battle, LB Tegray Scales, DT Demarcus Christmas, DE Calvin Taylor, P Corliss Waitman, LS Christian Kuntz and OT John Leglue to reserve/future contracts.
A 15-game starter for the Chargers in 2017, Williams has made only seven since, all of which came for the Bolts in 2018. Going on 28, he will be a long shot to crack the Steelers’ 53-man roster in 2021.

    Eagles waived CB Trevor Williams.
It’s the second time in the last two months that the Eagles have moved on from Williams. The 26-year-old made two appearances for the Cardinals last year and could still potentially re-sign with Philadelphia following its season opener against Washington.

  • FA Defensive Back
    Eagles re-signed CB Trevor Williams.
Williams was cut last month but is back and will compete for one of the last roster spots. A former starter for the Chargers, Williams appeared in just two games last season, with the Cardinals.

  • FA Defensive Back
    Eagles waived CB Trevor Williams.
With no preseason to evaluate end-of-roster players, the Eagles are getting a head start on cuts. It obviously bodes poorly for 26-year-old Williams’ future that he is getting cut loose at this stage of the offseason by a typically corner-needy squad.

  • FA Defensive Back
Eagles signed CB Trevor Williams to a Reserve/Future contract.
Williams started 15 games for the Chargers in 2017, but battled injuries over the past two seasons and didn’t manage to stick with either of the Chargers or Cardinals. Williams is still just 26 years old and provides the Eagles with some much-needed talent in their CB room.
  • FA Defensive Back
Cardinals claimed CB Trevor Williams off waivers from the Chargers.
Always injured, the Chargers got tired of waiting for Williams to get healthy. Although he still isn’t recovered from the knee injury that landed him on injured reserve in Los Angeles, Williams is a no-brainer flier for the corner-desperate Cardinals. Williams will be an instant starter in the desert if he can somehow get back to full health.
  • FA Defensive Back
    Chargers released CB Trevor Williams.
On injured reserve at the time of his release, Williams most recently logged 410 snaps for the Chargers in ’18 before ankle and knee issues ended his season at that time, too. He was Los Angeles’ clear-cut No. 2 corner when healthy, making him an obvious candidate to get swooped off the market immediately.
  • FA Defensive Back
The Chargers ruled out CB Trevor Williams (knee) Week 1 against the Colts.
Injuries have been a problem for Williams, who was placed on injured reserve last season. The Bolts should hold up this week against the visiting Andrew Luck-less Colts, but it’s another hit to a secondary that’s already missing stud safety Derwin James.
  • FA Defensive Back
Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said he doesn’t think CB Trevor Williams (knee) will be ready for Week 1 against the Colts.
Williams struggled last year before being placed on injured reserve with a late-season knee injury. Now expected to sit against the Colts, the Chargers will look to Michael Davis and Desmond King to take his spot opposite Casey Hayward.
  • FA Defensive Back
Chargers signed CB Trevor Williams to a one-year, $2.025 million contract.
A restricted free agent, Williams was tendered at the original-round level. Williams was a revelation in 2017 before struggling to start last year and ending the season on injured reserve with a knee injury. Assuming he is healthy, Williams will compete with Michael Davis for snaps opposite Casey Hayward.
