Trevelin Queen scored 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting (3-of-5 3-pointers) with five rebounds, and four steals with no turnovers as the Lakers closed out summer league with an 84-76 victory over the Warriors on Tuesday.
The Lakers once trailed by 17 points but fought all the way back to earn an eight-point victory to conclude summer league play. Queen was impressive, especially on the defensive end, showing active hands to start the fastbreak and help to ignite the ferocious comeback that got the Lakers the win. Chaundee Brown chipped in 11 points, while Vic Law and Tres Tinkle both scored 11 and Devontae Cacok scored 10 as the Lakers finished 3-2 from the Las Vegas summer league.

  • NBA Point Guard #23
Vic Law (Achilles) will be available for Game 5 against the Bucks on Saturday.
    There’s a decent chance he’ll pick up a DNP-CD tomorrow.

  • NBA Point Guard #23
Vic Law (sore left Achilles) is questionable for Game 5 against the Bucks on Wednesday.
He’s logged a total of three minutes and 33 seconds through four playoff games, so whether or not he’s available tomorrow won’t impact fantasy hoops.

  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vucevic hit 10-of-11 shots and three 3-pointers for 23 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal in just 26 minutes of Thursday’s 133-127 win over the Pelicans.
D.J. Augustin, who came off the bench, hit 7-of-10 shots for 22 points and six assists, and James Ennis, Wesley Iwundu, Markelle Fultz, Vic Law and Melvin Frazier Jr. all finished in double digits tonight. The Magic are hoping to get Terrence Ross, Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon healthy for the playoffs, but if any of them sit out against the Bucks, guys like Augustin, Ennis and Iwundu might be in play for DFS.

  • NBA Point Guard #23
Vic Law has signed a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic.
Law was in camp with the Magic, but ultimately didn’t make the team. He has impressed in the G League with the team’s affiliate and could see some minutes in the NBA with Jonathan Isaac (knee) and Al-Farouq Aminu (knee) both out for a long time.
  • Shooting Guard #31
Evan Fournier (rest), Wes Iwundu (knee soreness) and Vic Law (soreness) will be held out of Wednesday’s preseason game in Atlanta.
None of these guys are dealing with a serious injury, but there’s no reason to push things during the preseason. Markelle Fultz may be able to earn some extended minutes tonight with Fournier unavailable, and we’ll be watching him closely.
  • NBA Point Guard #23
Vic Law has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Magic.
Law will provide another body at camp, but it’s unlikely he’ll secure a spot on the regular-season roster.
