    The Dream waived guard Ashley Joens on Saturday.
    Joens, signed to a training camp deal in early March, was one of the Dream players who did not see action in Saturday’s preseason finale until the fourth quarter. She played eight minutes and finished with five points, one assist, and one three-pointer. With starting point guard Jordin Canada (knee) unavailable for the start of the season, playmaking may be a priority for the Dream as they finalize their roster for the regular season.
