Olivia Miles, the standout star for the Minnesota Lynx, was named the 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year, the league announced on Monday morning.
Miles received 100% of the votes from 74 WNBA media members. Five other current and former players have received the award unanimously: Aliyah Boston, A’ja Wilson, Elena Delle Donne, Tina Charles and Candace Parker.

During the regular season, Miles averaged 19.8 points, 6.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals and shot 49.2% from the field.
The guard took home four Rookie of the Month awards during the regular season. She also set league history for all-time rookie scoring — her 790 points surpassing Caitlin Clark’s 769 from 2024.
Minnesota Lynx’s head coach Cheryl Reeve, who just took home 2026 Coach of the Year Award, has praised Miles breakout performance and impact on the team’s success throughout the season.

As the playoffs continue, the Lynx take on the New York Liberty in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
