  • LAC Tight End

It was Gadsden’s first game with more than two receptions since early November, and he led all Chargers pass catchers in receiving yards in another low-volume outing for Justin Herbert in an increasingly run-heavy LA offense. Gadsden logged a pass route on 22 of the Chargers’ 32 drop backs against KC. It’s a decent rate, but one that keeps Gadsden as a thin option in 12-team fantasy leagues. Gadsden should be in lineups next week against a vulnerable Dallas coverage unit.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey and the Bolts pass catchers suffered from a lack of volume once again with the team shifting hard toward the run. McConkey led the team in pass routes but saw just three targets. He now has ten receptions over his past four games. Though he remains the team’s nominal WR1, McConkey isn’t startable in ten-team fantasy leagues and might be little more than a flex play in 12-team leagues next week against the Cowboys. The Chargers’ drop in pass volume has destroyed McConkey’s upside.
  • KC Quarterback #15
Reid acknowledged to reporters that Mahomes’ late-game knee injury against the Chargers “didn’t look good.” Mahomes was down on the turf for a couple minutes before being helped to the KC locker room. He was seen not putting any weight on his injured knee on his way to the locker room. The Chiefs being eliminated from postseason contention with their Week 15 loss to the Chargers likely means we won’t see Mahomes, 30, under center again in 2025. Gardner Minshew will start for the Chiefs if Mahomes is out. He could face a lengthy recovery depending on the seriousness of the knee injury. Minshew can be added in superflex formats ahead of KC’s Week 16 game against the Titans.
  • LAC Running Back #8
Hampton led the way with 15 rushes while Kimani Vidal saw 12 rushes and one reception. It was Vidal who ran the most pass routes — 21 to eight — and functioned as the third-down and two-minute back for much of the game. With the Chargers shifting hard to the run over the past three weeks, Hampton and Vidal are likely to split around 30 weekly touches, possibly more depending on game script. That could lock in Hampton for 15-20 weekly touches. The rookie should be considered a top-30 option in Week 16 against a week Dallas defense.
  • KC Running Back #10
Pacheco was as inefficient as ever, averaging a meager 1.9 yards while Kareem Hunt had 12 yards on six carries in the NFL’s worst backfield. He was bottled up time and again in short yardage situations and slow to get to the edge against LA defenders. Pacheco logged 18 routes to 22 pass routes for Hunt. Pacheco, who has more than nine carries in just five games this season, won’t be playable in fantasy next week against the Titans.
  • ARI Tight End #85
He was unstoppable from the jump, taking underneath screens and running over Texans defenders as the Cardinals kept things conservative against Houston’s defensive line. He’s only the second receiver to score more than 20 PPR fantasy points against the Texans all season, after Jaxson Smith-Njigba did it in Week 7. McBride and Jacoby Brissett may not be winning (m)any games, but they are a fantasy bonfire that can’t be contained. McBride will be an easy TE1 overall against the Falcons in Week 16.
  • KC Tight End #87
Kelce tied for the team lead in receptions and led the Chiefs in receiving yardage thanks in large part to a hurry up approach in the fourth quarter as the Chiefs tried (and failed) to keep their playoff hopes alive. Kelce converted five first downs on the day. It was the fourth time in 2025 Kelce has exceeded 68 receiving yards. His rest-of-season usage is very much an open question with Kansas City eliminated from postseason contention and Patrick Mahomes going down in the fourth quarter with an apparently serious knee injury. Gardner Minshew’s penchant for check downs could keep Kelce alive as a weekly fantasy starter, however. Kelce will face the Titans in Week 16.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #12
He kicked off Houston’s offense by housing a middle-of-the-field target for 57 yards on their second play from scrimmage, then added a late touchdown in the fourth quarter on a goal-to-go target over the middle. Letting Nico Collins feast over the middle of the field, as it turns out, a good idea. It’s his first two-score game since last year’s Week 15 win over the Dolphins. Collins will be a WR1 in Week 16 against the Raiders.
  • LAC Running Back #30
Vidal operated as the 1B option behind Omarion Hampton, who led the Chargers backfield with 15 rushes for 61 yards. Vidal, as he did last week against the Eagles, functioned as the team’s primary pass catching backs, running 21 routes to eight routes for Hampton, who was not targeted. Though he was inefficient in this one, Vidal remains an important part of a Chargers offense that has become one of the league’s run heaviest units over the past three weeks. Vidal will be a viable flex play in deeper leagues next week against Dallas. He should see 10-12 touches with upside to spare.
  • JAC Quarterback #16
It goes without saying that the first five-score day through the air of Lawrence’s career was also his first six-touchdown outing. Leveling up seemingly every week over the past month, Lawrence had his most emphatic improvement yet against the Jets’ bottom-basement defense. Directing the ball to whomever was open, Lawrence found four players for at least 50-plus receiving yards, and six for 20-plus. Travis Etienne led the way, with all three of his receptions ending up in the end zone, including a 45-yarder on a screen. Lawrence’s most impressive plays were improvisations, including his 15-yard rushing score. The pass was a 33-yard, non-scoring fadeaway jumper to Parker Washington. There was a scary moment in the first half where Lawrence banged his passing hand, but he never missed a snap and seemingly never missed a throw. Lawrence’s hot streak will be put to the toughest of Week 16 tests as the Jags venture on the road to Denver. Despite his hot play, he will remain outside the top 12 for that one.
