Clark

Clark is inactive for personal reasons, but the rest of the inactives are not a surprise. This will end the season for all five defenders.

Clark (6'1"/195) had three tackles and an interception in seven games for his true freshman season. The former four-star CB (Rutgers 27th highest recruit all-time) has now entered his name in the transfer portal despite the solid playing time, so perhaps Clark is looking to parlay that into a higher-profile school.

Clark wants to get a head start on his freshman season, hence the decision to enroll in January. The Camden HS (Camden, New Jersey) standout was the first commit in Greg Schiano’s 2021 class.

Clark is the first player to commit to Greg Schiano in the 2021 class. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound corner appears to be a good get for the Scarlet Knights, as he also had offers from schools like Miami and Boston College; among others. The good folks of 247Sports rank Clark as the 42nd best corner in the class, and 15th among prospects in the state of New Jersey.
