Debose

Debose was highly-touted when he enrolled at Florida, but couldn’t stay healthy in Gainesville. He managed just 30 career catches, though he was a force on special teams, scoring four touchdowns on kick returns.

A seventh-round pick, Debose suffered an Achilles’ injury in OTAs and will head to I.R. when he clears waivers. He was considered the favorite for kick return duties. The Raiders replaced Debose with Trindon Holliday.

Debose (6'0/190) was billed as the next Percy Harvin when he committed to Florida, but battled injuries throughout his career and finished with just 30 catches. He did bring back a school record four kickoffs for touchdowns though and can run in the 4.3s. It’s a nice flier pick for the Raiders.

His injury is undisclosed. A seventh-round pick in 2015, Debose tore his Achilles’ last offseason. When healthy, he could catch on as a return specialist.
