Scottie Scheffler narrowly missed out on his first career PGA Tour win last week in Houston, but oddsmakers have faith that he can get across the line this week in the final official event of the year.

The RSM Classic is the last stop of the fall portion of the 2021-22 season, as Sea Island Golf Club along the Georgia coast plays host to a 156-man field across two courses. Scheffler made the U.S. Ryder Cup team earlier this year despite a lack of hardware, and he held a 54-hole lead last week at the Houston Open. But a final-round 69 wasn’t enough, as he finished two shots behind eventual winner Jason Kokrak.

Oddsmakers at PointsBet Sportsbook have faith in the Texan to bounce back, listing him as a +1100 betting favorite this week in SEC country. Close behind is course horse Webb Simpson, who has lost this event in a playoff on two different occasions (2011 and 2019), followed by Aussie Cam Smith.

Defending champ Robert Streb shocked the field a year ago and is listed at +7000 to go back-to-back. Kevin Kisner, who Streb beat in a sudden-death playoff last year, is listed at +4000.

Here’s a look at some of the other notable odds as the Tour conducts a full-field event for the last time until the Sony Open in the second week of January:
