Lail

Lail has been gobbled up by the Blue Jays after three excellent starts this season for the High Point Rockers of the independent Atlantic League. The 28-year-old righty made a pair of relief appearances last year for the Mariners and holds an inflated 6.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 15/8 K/BB ratio across 21 innings (11 appearances) in the majors since 2019.

Lail was plucked off waivers from the Mariners back in May, but didn’t end up making an appearance for the Phillies at the big-league level this season. The 28-year-old righty has allowed three runs on four hits with a 1/0 K/BB ratio across 21 innings at the big-league level since 2019.

Lail was just claimed off waivers from the Mariners in late May but he is now off the Phillies’ 40-man roster. The 27-year-old right-hander holds a career 6.00 ERA in 21 innings of relief at the MLB level.

The 27-year old allowed right runs over 15 innings last season for the Mariners and has appeared in just two innings this season. Lail is likely to be used as bullpen depth for the Phillies system.

Lail appeared in two games with the mariners and gave up three runs over two innings of work. Assuming he goes unclaimed, he’ll likely report to Triple-A Tacoma to provide depth in the Rainiers bullpen.

Lail gives the M’s a much-needed fresh arm for their bullpen. The 27-year-old allowed eight runs over 15 relief innings for Seattle last season.

Lail elected to become a free agent last month after the Mariners pushed him off their 40-man roster, but the two sides have reached a new agreement for 2021 that presumably includes an invitation to spring training. The 27-year-old posted a 4.41 ERA over 16 1/3 innings of relief this year between Chicago and Seattle.

The Mariners removed Lail from their 40-man roster and he’s decided to explore free agency rather than accept an outright assignment. Lail has posted a 5.21 ERA over nine appearances in the majors across the last two seasons.

Lail allowed five runs over eight relief innings after being claimed off waivers. Jimmy Yacabonis will take his spot in the bullpen.

Lail was claimed off waivers from the White Sox earlier in the week and had to wait to clear intake testing before being activated. He was immediately pressed into action Friday, throwing three hitless innings in a blowout loss to the Astros. He’ll serve in middle relief for the M’s.
