Broncos selected Lamar CB Brendan Langley with the No. 101 pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Langley (6’0/189) committed to Georgia as a four-star high school recruit, but struggled for playing time and resurfaced at small-school Lamar in Texas, where he converted from wide receiver to cornerback in 2016 and earned first-team All-Southland Conference as both a defensive back and return specialist. Langley intercepted six passes as a senior and combined for three return scores. His stock rose in Indy with a 4.43 forty and 22 bench-press reps. A size-speed prospect who is still learning how to play corner, Langley offers long-range upside but is unlikely to contribute much in year one.
