Bowen

Bowen may have the best chance of making the team considering he suited up for the Wolves at Summer League, but none of these guys are guaranteed a regular-season roster spot, and are therefore safe to ignore in fantasy hoops.

He played a total of 14.9 minutes for the Pacers this season.

Bowen isn’t expected to have an impact in Indiana’s rotation. He hasn’t played yet this season.

Bowen, who’s on a two-way contract, isn’t a rotation player when healthy. No need to even consider grabbing him off of the waiver wire.

Goga Bitadze (ankle) and Jalen Lecque (ankle) are the other non-rotation players who will join Bowen on the sidelines tonight.

Bowen wasn’t expected to be a rotation player when healthy, so his return won’t have any kind of impact when it comes to fantasy basketball.

While Bowen’s injury won’t have much of an impact on the Pacers’ roster, the time he’ll be spending rehabbing means less time when it comes to his skill development. Even when healthy Bowen wasn’t worth considering in any fantasy format.

Not selected in the 2019 NBA Draft, Bowen signed a two-way deal with the Pacers and appeared in six games. He and the Pacers will be dealing with different two-way rules this season, as Bowen can be active for up to 50 games and there are no limits on practice time. Bowen won’t play much, but this season will be key when it comes to his development as a pro.

None of these guys played much for the Pacers last season and they’ll all be unrestricted free agents this offseason. Maybe they’ll get some training camp invites, but these guys are off the radar in fantasy hoops.

He did not score on Friday night in his start, but now he is out of NBA days on his contract. Bowen should remain in the G League the rest of the way.
