    Mets released RHP Brooks Hall.
Hall latched on with the Mets on a minor league contract back in mid-July and has been released after just four appearances (three starts) for Double-A Binghamton. The 32-year-old right-hander has yet to appear in the majors after being drafted back in 2009.

Mets signed RHP Brooks Hall to a minor league contract.
The 32-year-old hurler had been pitching for the Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League where he registered a 2.20 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 32/8 K/BB ratio over 32 2/3 innings. He’ll add minor league bullpen depth for the Mets.

The 26-year-old spent the first seven seasons of his professional career in the Brewers’ organization. He split his time between Double-A Biloxi and Triple-A Colorado Springs in 2016, compiling a 4.30 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 79/28 K/BB ratio over 98 1/3 frames.

Brewers optioned RHP Brooks Hall to Double-A Huntsville.
Hall, 23, never had a real shot to win a roster spot. He’ll go back into Huntsville’s rotation after posting a 4.01 ERA there last year.

Brewers sent RHP Brooks Hall outright to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
The move opens up a spot on the 40-man roster to add reliever Francisco Rodriguez. Hall, 24, compiled a 2.77 ERA with a 16/7 K/BB ratio in 26 innings at Double-A Huntsville in 2014. He missed most of the season due to bone spurs in his right elbow.
