Illinois State transfer Nick Zeisloft headed to Indiana
Indiana has added Nick Zeisloft, the Hoosiers announced in a release on Monday morning.
“The addition of Nick allows us to spread and space the floor even more and play with more pace,” said Indiana head coach Tom Crean. “More importantly, we are adding a young man that has been raised well and has been well coached throughout his career. He brings a physical and mental toughness that has allowed him to play at a strong level and brings leadership and maturity to our program.”
Zeisloft started 30 games as a redshirt sophomore last season, averaging 6.9 points while shooting 35.5% from three. He spent three years in the ISU program and has already graduated with an undergraduate degree in finance, meaning that Zeisloft will be eligible to play immediately. He has two seasons left.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to play for Coach Crean and the Indiana Hoosiers,” said Zeisloft. “IU’s tradition is like no other and I am honored to have the opportunity to further my education in the Kelley School of Business.”
