Giants selected Purdue OG Marcus Mbow with the No. 154 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Mbow (6’5"/300) started at right guard in 2022, where he acquitted himself well in his first taste of extended playing time. He earned 70th+ percentile grades in both the run and pass phases, allowing zero sacks and three hits in 415 pass reps. The Milwaukee, WI native then slid over to right tackle for his remaining two seasons with Purdue and peaked as a run blocker last year, recording a sterling 0.7% blown run block rate. Mbow allowed an elevated 25 pressures with a 96.2 percentile pass block efficiency rate that fueled his middling 68th percentile pass block grade. He developed into a three-time All-B10 performer who stood out as an undersized, but talented blocker with a lightning get off who outmaneuvers defenders rather than overpowering them. Mbow is too easily moved backwards to stay on the outside, but his quickness could be a real asset as a trapping guard for a more movement-oriented offense. His high-end comp is Jon Runyan.
  • Arizona State received a verbal commitment from three-star 2021 T Marcus Mbow.
Mbow (6'6/305) received his offer from the Sun Devils as May was winding down and has yet to visit the program due to the coronavirus pandemic. But the Milwaukee native managed to forge enough bonds with the coaching staff through virtual check-ins and the like this summer that he felt comfortable making the pledge sight unseen. On the 247Sports composite board, Mbow hits the fray as the No. 6 prospect in the state of Wisconsin for the 2020 class.
