AL.com got Charles Barkley to interview Alabama coach Nick Saban, and the results are exactly what you’d expect (in a good way).
Barkley, the former Auburn basketball players and NBA Hall of Famer, starts off the interview by asking Saban how he manages to wear those trademark straw hats he frequently is seen sporting during practice. The interview delves into Barkley’s golf game (of course) and Saban’s basketball skills -- there’s a pretty funny anecdote in there about Alabama men’s basketball coach Avery Johnson -- but also takes a more serious tone about Saban’s discipline theories and his willingness to gives players a second chance.
