As one of two major contributors to depart the TCU program earlier this month, offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje is apparently headed back to where his collegiate career began.
Fabuluje told Brandon Gurney of the Deseret News that he has been admitted back to BYU, which follows a previous report that he was applying to the university.
Fabuluje originally committed to BYU coming out of high school in 2010. After redshirting that year, he transferred to TCU where he sat out the 2011 season. Fabuluje then started 12 games for the Horned Frogs last season and was named Honorable Mention All-Big 12.
He has two years of eligibility remaining, but given that he likely won’t play again until 2014, he really has one unless he somehow receives an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA.
