The college football action continues on NBC, NBCSN, and Peacock with three matchups. First, at 2:00 PM ET, No. 3 Notre Dame takes on Purdue in Indiana. Then, at 5:00 PM, the Wisconsin Badgers face the No. 13 Penn State Nittany Lions. Later, at 7:30 PM, it’s No. 20 Oregon vs No. 12 USC on NBC and Peacock.

Notre Dame:
Notre Dame looks to end September undefeated for the first time under Marcus Freeman. The Fighting Irish are coming off a 27-10 win over Michigan State last Saturday.
Junior QB CJ Carr completed 75 percent of his passes for 234 yards and one rushing touchdown
“(Carr) was getting our offense in a good position to have positive plays and the looks he was getting,” Freeman said after the win. “He took advantage of what the team gave him in the pass game with explosive plays. He’s a really good player and I’m glad he’s on this team.”
Notre Dame is still looking for more consistency in its run game after losing two of their top running backs, Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, who were first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Irish are averaging 130.0 rush yards per game across their first three wins and have had a different leading rusher in each game.
Purdue:
The Boilermakers (1-2) look to bounce back after back-to-back losses: a double-overtime defeat to Wake Forest in Week 2 and a 52-38 loss to UCLA last Saturday.
Ryan Browne, in his second season as Purdue’s starting quarterback, threw for a career-high 378 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception last week.
Purdue is currently tied for 34th in the FBS in scoring this season at 39.3 points per game.
Defensively, the Boilermakers have struggled to stop the run game, allowing 207 yards per game, the most in the Big Ten.
Purdue has not defeated an FBS opponent in over a year. Its last win came in last year’s season opener against Ball State.
