Kentucky’s Jason Hatcher arrested for marijuana, three other charges

Kentucky outside linebacker/defensive end Jason Hatcher was arrested early Monday morning and booked on four charges, two of which are drug-related.

Hatcher was arrested in Franklin County, which is northwest of Lexington, and booked on charges of speeding 11 mph over the limit, trafficking in marijuana (eight ounces to fewer than five pounds), tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. As of late Monday morning, he still was listed as an inmate on the Franklin County Regional Jail’s website.

Hatcher was 10th on Kentucky in 2015 with 39 tackles, and added five and a half tackles for a loss and two sacks over nine games. In three seasons with the Wildcats, Hatcher totaled 14 tackles for a loss and five and a half sacks.

The Louisville native was suspended for the first two games of last season due to a violation of team rules, and in 2014 was cited for possession of marijuana, though that charge was later dropped.
