Two years ago, it was Tim Tebow on the receiving end of a copious amount of calls and texts -- and some thinly-veiled death threats -- after LSU fans had gotten hold of his cell phone number in the days ahead of the game with Florida.
Fast forward to today, and a quartet of Gators are feeling Tebow’s pain.
Somehow, someway, LSU fans have gotten the digits of head coach Urban Meyer, offensive coordinator Steve Addazio, quarterback John Brantley and wide receiver Riley Cooper.
“They haven’t been bad,” said Brantley, who may start Saturday’s game if Tebow is not medically cleared. “It’s just a little annoying.”
Kudos to a minority of the LSU fans for having the resourcefulness to keep finding a way to get their fingers on the numbers. Then again, when you have no life, I guess it’d be easy to find the time to to devote your resources to such an inane hobby.
