Watch: Notre Dame Stadium FieldTurf install in progress

Notre Dame Grass Sale Football

Work continues on replacing the grass field at Notre Dame’s football stadium Wednesday, May 21, 2014, in South Bend, Ind. Notre Dame was selling rolls of sod from its football stadium on a first-come, first-served basis Wednesday after finishing taking online orders for delivery. Notre Dame announced last month it was switching to FieldTurf because of problems with the playing surface in recent seasons. (AP Photo/The Truth, James Buck) GOSHEN OUT MAGS OUT

And a cool new time-lapse video released by our friends at Fighting Irish Digital Media gives us an update on the status of Notre Dame Stadium while also serving as an educational tool on FieldTurf installation.

In under a minute you can check out what’s been happening inside Notre Dame Stadium since graduation in May.

With progress on pace for completion in early August, here’s your latest look at the new playing surface inside the House That Rock Built. (And Lou Expanded. And Jack’s Remodeling.)
