    Titans signed FB Collin Mooney.
Mooney was originally headed to Jacksonville for a tryout after fulfilling his service commitment to the Army the past three years. Mooney set Army’s single-season rushing record (1,339 yards) back in 2009, surpassing the storied Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside combo of Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis.

Titans RB Jamie Harper could see time at fullback.
Starter Collin Mooney is dealing with a minor knee injury. A full-on position switch shouldn’t be in store for Harper, but it’s proof that he’s firmly behind Javon Ringer on the depth chart, with Darius Reynaud gaining ground.

Titans FB Collin Mooney suffered a broken left hand in last Friday’s OTA practice.
The injury happened in a blocking drill, and Mooney may eventually need surgery. Coach Mike Munchak promises Mooney will still be “fine for training camp.” The 26-year-old Army grad is competing with Quinn Johnson for a starting job.

Titans signed FB Collin Mooney from the team’s practice squad and waived OL Kyle DeVan.
Mooney will add depth behind Quinn Johnson. DeVan continues his roster dance and, if we’ve learned anything, will likely be re-signed next week.

Titans FB Collin Mooney underwent arthroscopic knee surgery after the season.
Mooney tore his meniscus early last season and had it fixed up in January. He was promoted from the practice squad in December, and he carried the ball five times for 19 yards in two games while also playing special teams. Mooney’s participating fully in OTAs and will compete for a roster spot this summer.

    Titans waived FB Collin Mooney.
The Titans are expected to try to slide Mooney onto their practice squad. He’s a versatile fullback capable of both carrying the ball in a pinch and playing on special teams.

Titans placed FB Collin Mooney on injured reserve with a torn hamstring, ending his season.
Mooney was injured in Sunday’s loss to the Colts and will be shut down with just four weeks remaining in the regular season. He graded out as the No. 4 fullback by Pro Football Focus and will be back at his $495,000 salary in 2014. The Titans signed FB Quinn Johnson to replace Mooney on the active roster.

    Falcons signed FB Collin Mooney.
Mooney last appeared in a regular-season game in 2013, where he tore his hamstring. He’ll be lucky to survive first cuts in Atlanta.
