Dawkins

Dawkins is a practice squader who made some appearances on game days over the last two seasons. He was the presumed third running back on the Titans depth chart, one that lacks depth behind Derrick Henry and third-round rookie Darrynton Evans. The Titans could be a team to add a veteran back to the mix. Until then, Evans is a viable late-round dart throw as insurance to the “Big Dog”.

CB Kenneth Durden has also been promoted. Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry both escaped Sunday’s win healthy, so Dawkins’ promotion isn’t about issues at the top of the depth chart. An UDFA out of Colorado State, Dawkins played a three-down role for the Rams.
