Wisconsin senior WR Danny Davis (undisclosed) to miss Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona State.
This is a big loss for the Badgers who relied on Davis (6'0/194) as their main pass catcher this season. While he only caught 32 passes for 478 yards and two touchdowns in their run-heavy approach, Davis was important to maintain a deep-threat for the Badgers. Stepping up in his place is Kendric Pryor.

  • Wisconsin senior WR Danny Davis (head) is back to full strength and will be available for Saturday’s game against Penn State.
Davis (6'0/194) and Kendric Pryor both struggled with injuries last season, so it would be understandable if Wisconsin fans were concerned when news of the former’s head injury came to light. However, less than a week after it was reported that Davis was expected to be available for the opener against Penn State, Davis declared himself to be 100%. He finished the 2019 season with a 30-250-1 receiving line, and the hope is that Davis will regain the form that he showed during his first two seasons in Madison. After catching 26 passes for 418 yards and five scores as a freshman in 2017, Davis recorded a 40-418-5 line in 2018.

  • Wisconsin senior WR Danny Davis (head) is expected to be available for the team’s season opener against Penn State on September 4.
Davis (6'0/194) has been largely absent from training camp with what is being termed as a head injury, so this is great news from HC Paul Chryst, who confirmed Davis’ predicted availability for Week 1. An undisclosed injury sapped his effectiveness last season, catching only three passes for 78 yards and a touchdown in the truncated 2020 season. His presence is vital for a Wisconsin passing attack that averaged a pedestrian 181 yards through the air and faces a tough opening week opponent in Penn State.

  • Wisconsin senior wide receivers Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor have been ruled out for Wednesday’s Duke’s Mayo Bowl matchup with Wake Forest.
Both Davis (6'0/194) and Pryor (5'11/185) were limited in practice leading up to Wednesday’s game, so it comes as no surprise that they won’t be playing. Davis finishes the season with three receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown, while Pryor caught eight passes for 119 yards. Jack Dunn and Chimere Dike have led the way on the outside for the Badgers this season, while TE Jake Ferguson is the team leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.

  • Wisconsin wide receivers Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor remain limited in practice as the Badgers prepare for Wednesday’s matchup with Wake Forest.
While Davis (6'0/194) has not appeared in a game since November 14, Pryor (5'11/185) has been sidelined since December 5. Should both remain out, expect a lot of action for TE Jake Ferguson and RB Garrett Groshek in the passing game.

  • Wisconsin wide receivers Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor were not on the field for warmups ahead of Saturday’s game against Minnesota due to undisclosed injuries.
Neither Davis (6'0/194) nor Pryor (5'11/185) was expected to be available for Saturday’s battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that they aren’t on the field for warmups. Look for TE Jake Ferguson to be even more involved in the passing game, and the same can be said for RB Garrett Groshek.

  • Wisconsin wide receivers Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor have been declared out for Saturday’s game at Iowa.
Davis (6'0/194) has been out since November 14, while Pryor (5'11/185) was able to play in last weekend’s loss to Indiana. As a result of their absences, the Badgers will be without their two most talented wide receivers for Saturday’s battle with the Hawkeyes. TE Jake Ferguson will be Wisconsin’s top choice in the passing game.

  • Wisconsin senior WR Danny Davis (undisclosed) is not expected to play Saturday at Iowa.
Davis (6'0/194) Hasn’t played since getting injured on his lone reception in a 49-11 victory over Michigan on November 14. It’s an unfortunate break for the senior wideout who was expected to serve as the team’s top receiver in the wake of Quintez Cephus’ graduation. Kendric Pryor and Jake Ferguson will be Graham Mertz’s primary targets this Saturday at Iowa.

  • Wisconsin senior WR Danny Davis has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. Indiana due to an undisclosed injury.
There was some hope earlier in the week that Davis (6'0/194) would be able to play Saturday, but the senior wide receiver will have to miss yet another game. Davis has caught three passes for 78 yards and a touchdown this season.

  • Wisconsin senior WR Danny Davis’ status for Saturday’s game against Indiana remains unknown due to an undisclosed injury.
Davis (6'0/194), who caught 30 passes for 251 yards and a touchdown last season, has caught three passes for 78 yards and a touchdown this season. The senior wide receiver was not available for the Badgers’ most recent game, a Nov. 21 loss at Northwestern. More should be known about Davis’ status for the matchup with Indiana later this week.
