Alabama junior C Darrian Dalcourt will miss all of spring practice with an injury.
It is unknown what the injury is at this time, although it is very possible it is the same ankle injury suffered against LSU that kept him out late in the season. Dalcourt (6'3"/300) started 11 games for the Crimson Tide last year, and will be a key part of their season in 2022. He’s been with the program long enough that missing spring practice won’t hurt him too much, but if it is the ankle it’s odd that it’s taking quite so long to heal.

Alabama junior C Darrian Dalcourt (ankle) exited Saturday’s 20-14 win over LSU and did not return.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban shared after the game that Dalcourt (6'3/300) suffered a sprained ankle, although he didn’t know the severity of it at the time. Dalcourt has started every game for the Crimson Tide this season, and has allowed 13 quarterback pressures and two sacks according to Pro Football Focus. With a tilt against New Mexico on tap next week, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Dalcourt sit, even if he is healthy, in a game that Alabama should run away with.

At 6-foot-3, 290-pounds, Dalcourt has an excellent frame, and reports indicate that he does a good job driving to the next level. Alabama continues to rank at the top spot in 247 Sports class rankings.
